Project Overview
ODS Projects is currently partnering with Build for Nigeria in the implementation of the Build for Nigeria Initiative — a Public-Private Partnership (PPP) framework focused on expanding access to affordable student hostels for underserved populations while also driving slum upgrading solutions for urban poor and low-income earners.
This strategic initiative addresses two critical development needs:
- affordable accommodation for students
- improved living conditions for vulnerable urban communities
The Development Challenge
Rapid urbanization and rising housing costs continue to widen the gap in access to safe, affordable living spaces for students and low-income households.
Many students face poor-quality or expensive accommodation, while urban poor communities often contend with overcrowded settlements, weak infrastructure, and limited access to dignified housing solutions.
The initiative required a strong implementation partner capable of supporting programme coordination, stakeholder alignment, project systems, and delivery execution within a PPP environment.
